Just started my semester break not too long ago. Thanks to peishi, I'm now watching the dramas she has passed to me.
Previously I was watching this touching Japanese drama called Gokusen, at first I thought it had something to do with monkey god, but then well, I realized that it was actually something like GTO. I was rather pei chek that it finished after 10 episodes, but was happy to find another 10 in another disc.
But too bad, the first is always the best. As always, the weather is getting really cold, sometimes hitting 6 even. Claus has advised me to wear warm clothing, thanks alot!
Went down to smith street yesterday with pei shi, bought a suit and a hooded jacket, but I still can't find that smart casual jacket that I wanted. I used to wear jackets back in Singapore too, but somehow I found that the matching looked rather bad, so I stopped wearing them, anyway, it turns out that jackets are quite suitable here. So most of the clothes that I'm purchasing here are actually less thicker than they are suppose to be, so that when I go back to Singapore, I can wear them.
Dad told me to call my older follks here and there as they will really appreciate it. Think I should give my grandmas a call tomorrow morning, and also to start getting on with doing my work for the winter.
Things I hope to do:
1. Prep up for subjects next semester.
2. Get started on the recruitment plan.
3. Get started on the website.
4. Start reading the books I have bought so far.
5. Start trying the pasta recipe book that I bought, can cook for my parents when I get back.
I used to think that doing IT would be my preferred field of work. True, it is interesting, but it interests me more during the research factor, but not really in the practical aspect. As for photography, it is my dream to capture memorable images. Cooking? well, I hope to be able to whip up great dishes for the people I love, thats all. I think those who influenced me on these stuff would be:
IT- It should be both Jason and Yi fu.
Photography - It should be my dad and charlie.
Cooking - It should be my aunt's and uncle's food business, and Claus.
Was at a gathering chatting with Irene yesterday. She expressed interested in getting a black belt in aikido. This got me thinking, what does the black belt represent?
To some:
1. It equals to status.
2. It equals to a sense of achievement.
3. It comes about as a sense of higher learning.
4. Time to slack.
I admit that I'm not a top quality aikidoist, therefore I have no right to criticize others. But there are some who are willingly taking up an offer to lend a helping hand without knowing what he or she is getting himself into.
Things to be prepared are:
1. Students who are overzealous.
2. Complain King students.
3. Racist students.
4. Sexist students.
5. Horny students, very rare, but slim chance.
Some trainees might agree that becoming a black belt sacrifices a lot of personal time. Dedication is one thing, personal life is another. Your boyfriend or girlfriend might not understand why are you spending so much time there. You might be swamped by overwhelming demands from students and parents alike.
Well. Thats all for today. :P

Here...fishies...fishies.
Just had a quick dinner with pei shi over at my place today. Cooked some beef and salmon. Hope that she liked what she ate.
I'm out on a fishes craze recently, think due to the exam mood, I literally killed most of my brain cells. She passed me alot of korean dramas to watch...hope they will be interesting. :)

A cold blurry night.
Melbourne's weather is getting from bad to worse.
The sky was so foggy at 5pm, and by just talking you would be able to see mist coming out of your mouth. Went for aikido after so long finally at Melbourne University. Seems rather funny that I'm going to another school's aikido class instead of my own. Well, I had exams that period of time, what to do?
I saw a set of Melbourne university's polar fleece jacket. Wow it was really nice, not to say that the one made by RMIT University sucks, but the former was definitely the type of jacket that I preferred. I really liked the beanie sold by RMIT though.
Went dinner with peishi at Nandos. One thing about this restaurant is that I'm only attracts to the chilli sauce. Brr...Cold weather.
Too bad I can't post pics here, will update it in when able to.

Time for a long rest. Haiz.

Alternate World.
Was planning to write this in the morning, but somehow got overtaken by the other's thoughts.
Ever get the feeling that when you are sleeping, you have a dream that makes you smile, and just when you get to the good part, you wake up. An absolute letdown. You start to grumble about not finishing the dream. I had this idea when I was a kid. If you wanna continue your dream, just go back to sleep and you know what? It works.
How? You might ask. Well, There's different levels of sleep. When dreams start occurring, you are at the level where you are physically asleep, but you are still mentally conscious. Make yourself go back to that level. I have been doing this since I was a kid.
Some people may ask, what the point of this? Simple, in a dream, you came from:
Asleep --> Unconscious --> Conscious mode --> Awake.
(You have no or little control of what you are dreaming.)
I tried this method.
Awake-->Asleep-->Conscious.
(You have complete control over your dreams, and you can wake up anytime you want.)
Simply saying, I love this world. I allows me to live in this false reality where I can achieve my impossible dreams just for a temporary period of time. I get to relive my memories again, inputing parts that were missing in real life, thus turning it into reel life. Sometimes I do wish I could just sleep on and continue living in this alternate reality. But yet the reality beckons.
At the start, there were some miscalculations on my side. There was once, I woke up, went back to dreamland, but only woke up at the end of 4 days. The other times were that I went into conscious mode without physically sleeping, therefore seeing some stuff that one would normally describe as a nightmare, but the problem was that I was experiencing the nightmare while awake!
The mind is such a fun place.

Just Desserts.
Just wanna write something about myself. Something that a lot of people don't know about mi.
I find it very interesting to see if a friend has been cause the of problems for me. Especially if its a long term problem. Its rather an interest booster to the person's character, I must comment.
Childishness?
Most of the time, even if I know that you are the troublemaker behind my problem, Nah, I still won't bother, unless you start to make the first move to bomb me. But then I'll still be a friend and visit you occasionally, even if you don't want to open the door. Well, I believe in a lasting friendship.
But I also believe what goes around, comes around.
Sins were much discussed about in my religion. Really paid a lot of attention on this. Friend should be friends, true. I'll still be friendly to you even if you were stabbing my back. I believe in basic conscience. If the friend in question doesn't have it, thats ' even better, coz this makes life's journey much more interesting in the number of surprises that you will get from this guy. Life is pretty much more interesting with the bad guys around, don't you think?
Anyway, the point is, I believe, when you grow old and die, we will either go to Purgatory, Heaven or Hell. I think most of the people that die are still somewhere in purgatory, waiting for their sins to be forgiven. I wouldn't want my friend to go to hell or purgatory you know.
The best result: I'll see you guys in heaven. We will talk about the good, funny times, we enjoy the company of the creator.
The worst result : I'll see you guys in hell. I will just ask you, "Mate, how's the heat? It's hot in here, I know I deserved this, but what are you doing here with me? my good friend?"
The 'okay' result: We see each other in purgatory. One of us will take a longer time to be condemned, or be enlightened.
Anyway. Enuff of this. The main point is: I love you my friend. To me, giving is like a double-edged sword. I'll give you what I have, you deserved it. I want you to turn back and stop stabbing me, simply cuz it hurts. But if you still decide to stab on, so be it. But the thing is, up till here, anything else that I give you will accumulate your sins, cause you are repaying evil for friendship. In a way, I'm giving you an extra serving of sins. The idea is, if you are still stabbing me, you better stop accepting stuff from me. :P
I am the type who's going to absolutely anything to repay the deeds done to me.

Skincare Siao.
Australia really has a lot of facial products for Men.
Could it be because of the queers too? Anyway, if it is so, then I thank them, since I use just as much as a girl anyway.
Some people reading my blog might be curious, why am I writing this..?
Well, last time back in secondary school, I used to have damn alot of pimples, outbreaks etc. My whole face was so red with acne lor. Then I started to use facial wash, scrub etc. But the ones that I use in Singapore cannot be found here. Haiz...going to have some problem removing blackheads man.
I just discovered a new product. It helps to sooth off the dark eye circles around the eyes and the eye bags. And whaddayaknow, it works!
too bad I can't post pictures directly onto the blog, but it will look kinda gay-ish. Just finish my 1st paper, and my first exam in so long. What was the last test I took in Singapore?
Oh yah, the SOP for the use of MOPPE4. Heh. Wear the stupid chemical defense suit. Most of my friends are going back sg, wonder when are they coming back. One more thing, I have to thank 36th SCE for this nice jacket. Keeping me protected from the COLD. Thou I wish someone can get my Gortex jacket for me :(
I'm so happy that I am no longer owning anything to that bastard staying upstairs. You think its a personal pleasure to pick people off? I didn't do anything to you, and what you do? Go around telling others not to befriend me, telling tales behind my back. Fuck you. I regret even coming to Melbourne together with you in the first place. For placing my trust in someone so utterly unreliable. Nabei, telling me that you can't contact me at all, my phone is on 24 hours. I'm online until late at night, you can't contact me. You get pissed with me for that, that how about the times I was looking for you?
1. Spreading rumors that I'm visiting pros. (What's your problem? You need someone to go with you?)
2. Telling people I'm bad company("At least I'm not like someone who degrades people of other races in public")
3. Telling me that you are not at home thru the phone.(But I'm at your neighbor's place and whose voice am I hearing..?)
4. Telling me to wait for u to come down to print until 2am, but where the hell are you?
5. Then telling me days later that you don't want to print already then. What do you take me for? Your servant?
6.I chose not to believe what others were saying about you mate, but seems like I was wrong!

Material ways...getting bits outta my heart!
Juz feel like blogging today before my 1st paper on Friday.
Beginning to see the sense in things..why was I so silly then to pursue something that comes by fate...? Being single is great. There's no one to look back for. I'm my own guy, I walk my own path, there's no need to stretch my hand out waiting for someone to come grasp my hand.
Realize so much things in life is so much of material gains. You work, you slog....whats the point? Others would say its to fulfill their dreams. Some would say its to give their family a good life. Happy family is the game. But think of it, all the time spent slogging your time off. Can you ever earn back what you have missed in your life amid all those years of slogging?
I don't like slogggin' cuz the idea's simple. I work so hard, I look back. I can see the happy times of people around me, but I'm not in the picture. After so long, there has only been one person who really cared about what I think, cared to know me better. Cared to know more about me..while all the while, I'm the one doing all the work, trying to find out things my friends love. Try to match those single friends with other single friends I have that are around the type of that both of them are looking for. Discreetly. I wanna see something blossom in my world.
I was really happy today when I saw that Adelin was getting engaged. And to none other then my great friend. Daniel. So many of my friends are already married. Ke Bin to his wife in the States. Weiwen and her husband on the 1st of June. Huiyi to her boyfriend in Sept. Yeah I'm not there.
Family comes First. Work Second.
Relationships have never really been much of a thing for me, when I look deep into my heart. I wanna be there for the person I love. But I'm always taken for granted. After awhile, I feel like I'm out of the picture...Juz there but not there. If I get to choose, I might want to apply for the position of a guardian angel, since I'm always there, but no one really knows I'm there. I wanna be the one who wraps my wings around someone I care about, to shelter her from the rain or the glaring sun. But when she feels something, She looks back and realized I'm gone.
I feel like this world is really an illusion. Happiness? Define it. How does one find it? How do you define your happiness? I'm defining my happiness in showing the people around me that I love them. What's the 1st thing I'm gonna do when I grad? I'm gonna give my dad , my grandma and my mum a kiss and a hug, and tell them how much I love them, not because I miss them, but more to knowing I should start treasuring those around me more. Then I'll hug my sister and brother, cuz to me I've always seen them as little tots in my eyes since I'm the oldest, and there's none else whom I care more for.
As for a girlfriend. We will wait for it. Was watching this show called Click. When it came to this touching scene of the dad who wasted all his time on work 1st, family last. Came the time when the angel of death claims him, he realized the time he has wasted but it was too late. I used to get the sad feeling, start sobbing and think of my grandfather. I was in school at the time he passed away. I wasn't even there to bid him goodbye.
I was too late. I'm sorry.
When I wanted to ask Cindy something.
I was late. I'm sorry for making you wait that time.
But now when I watch the show, I get this double feeling. the left side of my tells me he deserve it for wasting so much precious time. The right side of me laments for the poor soul. The result? A headache due to conflicting feedback at the same time.
I don't wish to be too late again.
I treated Yang yang to dinner at Cafe Nocturno 2 days ago. Convinced her that Italian food was great. But then when she started eating, I saw a striking resemblance to my 1st girlfriend. People say the 1st love hurts the most. But I tell you this, its also where u love the most. Both "love" to cover their face up, both are so damn shy. It's not lovable, but more to irritating type of covering. You don't listen to what others have to say. Cancerians. I've been hurt enough by them.
"I like you. Do you like me? Well, I like another guy. But I could try loving you."
"I don't think we can be together, I still prefer the other guy, let's break up. Be friends? Ok."
"U feeling down? I promised I'll be there for you, so here I am."
"I think I'm starting to like you now."
"Oh Ok. But I've given up on you."
("I'm not there for you because you need help. I was there for you because I thought you had decided to give us the chance to be together again, but alas, when you told me that you are beginning to like me, I knew it was just another cycle. I could just be dropped again when another cute guy drops by, or u think that you have the chance with the other guy. " I'm just disappointed that through the times spent when you were down, I was just another guy to u.)
My neighbor was telling me that she thinks that I'm a romantic dude. So I asked her why. She comments that I have the chocolates, cherries etc; stuff in my room to show. So I just nodded. But well...I think that currently I'm still too sick to go think about a female companion like what my grandma suggested. She highlighted not to look for any angmohs, hongkongers or cantonese girls. Think it must be the number of pics I took with guys that I sent to my dad, and my dad showed her.

An uneventful weekend.
Feel so happie. My Internet connection is up and running again. It was down for the past two days. Seems I kenna some spyware or adware shit. Sian. Thanks to kevin, I'm finally able to get back online.
Eating my Brooklea Light Yoghurt now, together with thinking what I should prepare later for dinner. I don't know what to cook, but I do know I have to cook my spinach by today, else I will be eating expired food next week as well. Kevin advised me to eat 6 light meals a day in winter to lose weight, but I think I'm fine with eating 3 meals a day currently. The weather is getting colder....exams are nearing and my assignments are lessening. Well, that's obvious. It would suck if exams are coming and assignments are increasing.
Oh yes, I'll be spending winter in Melbourne, not going back unlike the rest of the peeps. Guess I'll be here to learn the ropes for managing the SSA's webbie from Edna. Should be idiot-proof I guess. I remembered that she wanted to have a Flash clinic.
Went to watch Pirates of the Carribean 3 yesterday with Muylip, Muylip's gf, Judith and Kevin. Really nice show and enjoyed the part where Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan exchanged their wedding vows amidst the fighting, with the unlikely chaplain of Captain Brabbarossa. Lotsa slap-stick comedy by Captain Jack Sparrows as always, and I really do hope its not the end of the runs for the 3 part series.
Show ended, went with Judith to get bubble tea. I don't really like the bubble tea here, but well, the weather was so damn cold, so I invited Judith over to my place to chat. We chatted until 2 am. Woah..abit sleepy.
Now chatting with my dad on Skype and showing him the horseriding pictures. Commented that my horse is a pony. And asking me to move to get better partners.

Whine...whine...whine? Coconut head...Boink!
Just reading the comments for my blog when I saw the comment but another anoymous person. If you "nameless" people kinda wanan diz me, at least leave you initials or something, don't leave me lying there wondering like what the fark happened, ok?
(Oh yeah, dude from SG...I don't like Xiaxue too...Wah lau. Disappointed of your comparison. Will try to add more brain stuff for ppl like you, but please follow the above guidelines k?)
Anyway, what kevin said makes sense. Main point is to keep an open mind. In layman's terms, on your radar but don't response unnecessary.
I feel so behind schedule. Wanna upload my photos but gotta finish my projects 1st. Finish projects then got exams.
What's next on the list?
1. Class test today.
2. Web 3D dues tomorrow.
3. Research paper and presentation due 2 weeks time.
4. Exams START! (3 paper.)
University life is soooo one-sided. There are always people asking for help help help, but no one wanna be there to provide help. I blacklist this kinda people.
I especially dislike it when people refer to their moms to do things. I've never asked my mom for the right to do anything, coz I believe that its my own right to do what I want. I only ask for an opinion because of respect. If I had listened to every single sentence my mom told me, I would probably end up:
(Juz for info, my mom didn't say no or reject me straight, she just plainly laughed in my face and said I'm not capable enough. Very good teaching to children I must say.)
1. I wouldn't have joined a uniform group.
2. I wouldn't have joined aikido.
3. I wouldn't have a change of personality.
4. I wouldn't have been here.
5. I wouldn't have the freedom to move about.
6. I would say, "Woof." instead of "Hi."
7. I would stare blankly at people if they try to be friendly with me coz I would only know a mother's love.
8. I would be friends with people whom I felt I had absolutely no connection with.
9. I would be alienated by the friends I have now.
10. My closest friend, kin, relative, will be my mom and mom only.
11. My life would be dead. This blog would belong to someone else.
12. I would probably listen more to Zhou Hua Jian.
13. My mom would probably that she raised a kid that is so guai..but deep down I'm already dead for years, just walking about following orders like a zombie.
14. Once I'm alone and matured, I'll just fade into the background, being so colorless, feeding off the welfare money of the government, die in some pigeonhole for the elderly , and pass on oh so lonely and go unnoticed for months, left with a rotting corpse and maggots for companions.
15. I'll probably haunt the place in the end, muttering about my unfulfilled life.
(But due to my personality, I completely ignored her and decided to take my own path, totally disregarding the path they set for me I guess. I prefer to walk with my own 2 feet, and when I look back, I don't want to see just my mother, I wanna see everyone I met in my life.)
1. I joined the national police cadet corps and got a leading role.
2. I joined the aikido organization in Singapore and got an assistance role.
3. I stopped myself from getting a split-personality disorder.
4. I started studying in RMIT and joined the SSA, got a role to play as well.
5. I walk and walk till my legs become noodles, but I still feel so shiok.
6. I say "Hi", not "Woof."
7. I can see my friends.
8. I chose my friends and they chose me.
9. I have people that care for me.
10. My closest friends, kin and relatives are around me, though not physically.
11. I love listening to Eminem. And I totally agree to what he raps.
12. My mom gets really pissed with me at times. I don't like this, but still working on it. I love you mom.
13. Once I matured, I'll still be in the mainstream living a colorful life, I would feel so alive coz my life will be different everyday, I'll give my elderly parents a good retirement life, bring my kids to visit them during the weekend, or stay with me and my wife and family in a great home, kids can listen to the grandfather stories. My siblings can rely on me, I don't need to go to the gahment for money, I want them to feature me instead, I'll be able to see my grandchildren when i grow old. And when I pass away, I'll be so happy recollecting the memories in my life and nodding that I hadn't wasted my life in some dank hole.
14. I'll smile when I meet God.

Things I regret not doing today?
Hmmm, my mind has been uneasy this week again. In Singapore, what I do was to give a call to my friend Cindy. Now I'm in Melbourne, there's no one so close to me to turn to for solace. Should I call her?
Yeah. I admit it. I miss Miss Goldfish. I wonder she knows this personal nickname I gave her. Gee. Well, now her photo frame is next to my study table, encouraging me to go on. Aww, I feel so sad and down. Just came down with a slight fever today. She's not picking up the phone.

I cringe as I open my door.
As above. anyone wanna know why?
Because the security of the Student Housing Australia(SHA) sucks. Why do I say so?
Simple. At Global House, there has been two cases of break-in so far. At Sophia House, there has been 6 cases of break-ins. Just what the hell is the property manager doing? And when the police are called, what do they say? "Probably the guy climbed in thru the window." But seriously, can you climb up a two storey window at 8pm in the evening?
I can't. And I confirm the police officer can't either.
So which Spiderman did it?
Well, If you ask me, I'll tell you how. If the freaking SHA property manager gives our keys to the general management when we need repairs to our place to come in without our permission, thats why!
Do you know?!
1. In the event your landlord wishes to sell the rights to the apartment, the agent has the right to open your door and come and go as he/she wishes.
2. When your room needs a repair, you inform them right, but if you are not at home, the repairman has the master keys from SHA to open the door and fix the problem.
3. When a previous tenant loses his/her key, what does SHA do? They replace the key, but they do not replace the lock, so if I wanna come in, I could if i was a dishonest previous tenant.
4. When you ask the property manager to inform you 1st before the repairman comes along, she tells you that the guy doesn't have the time to wait for you and will be given the key to the room to settle the problem.
5. You have a room for the reception, but where is the receptionist?
All right, you know where is the problem here????! We international students have lost our sense of privacy. Strangers are free to come and go as and when they love it. Security is advised but not promised. Not that it has been compromised, but that it is non-existent.
Rest assure that I will inform the IDP counselor about our present predictament, and hope that they will not recommend students to stay here, considering that we are like cash cows in our pens waiting to be milked.
Moo.

Wishlists...
Just got asked this question just now by Lynne. Wanted to know what I wanna do after I graduated.
Clearly I don't have a clue. What do I do? Somehow I feel like I'm standing by the side of the cliff and another to path back to where I came from. If I go down, I don't know how long its gonna take me to come right back up again. Another new path through life down under it seems. Where should I go? There are friends beckoning me to walk down the old path, and friends beckoning me to follow them on the new route...
I'll need to graduate 1st then I can say. Almost died due to "time management dues" few days ago.
Haven't being for aikido for a week. The instructor last week asked me to visit clifton hill dojo when I'm free.
I'll keep this short, still need to revise for my work.
My wish list:
1. A jacket like Jake's.
2. A new headphone.
3. Great results.
4. Better luck.
5. more daylight time.
6. money for school fees
7. money to get a DSLR. (wait long long.)
8. more harddisk space.
9. My TFN.
10. My work permit.
11. my driving licence?

So many chocolates. Lonely me.
Been looking at my box of chocolates today. Something hit me while looking. Why I bought so much? Normally people buy so much so that can share a romantic treat with their other half. But then lonely me got no other half or people to share with.
Well, though I gave some to people who appreciated it, Eg: Michelle, Janice and Daniel. Yaozong just chomped it and say he tired. My poor chocolate. Sacrificed without a thought. And he took the one I liked. Sobz.
Today's 2 lectures were really short. Dale had a headache, so MIA. I realized I can only do my Web3d attentively while in school. Aiya. Another source of headache. Fabio's lecture was damn short and more or less concluded with a project extension date of 5.5 days. Woohoo. able to concentrate on my SEF project.
Towards High Distinction if possible, Else Distinction!
(okok. Except PPIS.)
Some of the peeps in SSA really trying to be funny. I'm not interested in anyone inside the club. I'm interested in my studies (hah, yah right, studies my foot.) or rather, there's no one of particular interest to me. (fancy a bit is got lah, but then you guys won't be able to guess who. Happy guessing.)
Suddenly got so much tasks to do in the sudden reshuffling. But schoolwork comes 1st. Media and Development 2nd, Aikido and such 3rd.(Duh. Of course, if got girlfriend then something else right..?)
I found this stupid melbourne uni brochure for voluntary services in the mailbox. For community work in Melbourne. Maybe can go check it out.

Horseriding Trip and chocolate factory.
Oww...my arms and legs are hurting now.
Woke up at 7.45 to meet Pei shi at the junction to go for the horse riding and chocolate factory trip. Was late for the meeting, but when I reached the meeting place for the bus to arrive, no one was there yet. Oops! too early.
Then at 8.30, everyone had already started to arrive. Phew. And I thought that I was late. Thus at 9, all 9 of us were bundled into the van, don't know who said it was a bus though. haha.
Our 1st stop was the Chocolate Factory, which I guess myra and my younger sis would go nuts just looking at the chocolate, then decided to buy one set for Ya Qi as a gift for her birthday. I hope she liked it as she said on the sms. :P
The chocolates can be found here.
After that we actually wanted to go to a cafe for lunch, but I saw the freaking pizza was like 12 bucks for a small slice, decide to munch tibits until i saw the nearest KFC. Had wicked wings, rather yummy.
(Munching my Cherry bomb now. Shiok!)
Then we went Horse-riding. Pity those friends who wanna go but cannot make it. Missed out on alot of fun. Btw, my horse's name is Tabitha. Still cannot pronounce it. Will upload the pics later. Busy week ahead. 2 assignments dues.
Mug mug mug. Waah. Zee tell me go aim Golden Key Society.

Updated links.
Jus to note for viewers of thy blog.
I've updating my friend's Adelin's link to my blog to her website, helping her to advertise for her jewelery accessories. Better to help advertise than leave it as a broken link...
Also, Ms Cindy's blog has been resurrected yet again. Time to see what this Goldfish has been doing all these while.
Argh, my web3d work. Sian.

I'm missing something here, am I not?
Time to blog of the events in this week.
Phew. finally finished my PPIS business plan. No need to work on it anymore. And also end of my Computer Security paper. Rony had all of us wear business suits, got a borrowed suit from Ferry. looked really business-like. But I do admit that John and Rony were the most professional-looking of the lot. Had my 1st taste of green tea frappuccino. Yummy. Really loved the taste.
Friday. Had the RMIT-SSA AGM. Got about doing my photographer job. Took helluva pictures. Had lots of fun knowing more people. Went to have dinner with them and watched Spiderman 3 after that. Strained my neck watching the show. Oh yeah, and contributed to Xi Qi's Umbrella Fund...wonder has she bought her umbrella yet?
Sat. Felt so lethargic about doing my projects. Really feel like there's something missing in my life. And no thanks to the kid living upstairs. What's missing? I couldn't fathom what could be missing in my life...whats going on? Why am I feeling like this? Feel so lost.
My life's a whirl,
My memories don't thrill.
My past isn't nice,
My heart feels like ice.
My songs pierce thy broken heart,
My life falls down hard.
Sun. Spent half the day in denial again. Aaaah. Where is this anguish coming from? Wanted to do my work. But too dead to continue. Asked my neighbor to go munch ice cream with me in the cold weather. Don't want to go out. Then I wanted to eat dinner outside, was so happy that Alicia was fine with meeting me though she stayed in Southbank. So long never meet her already. Then when I saw her just now, she looked way taller from how I remembered. :P Felt really paiseh ask her come out all the way. Wonder next time can ask her go out again?

Sad sad memories.
Was browsing around my com looking for some pictures to use for my Web3D project.
Chanced upon the pictures I took with my ex-girlfriend before I came here. Felt so compelled to look at the pictures, relive the happy times. After that feel so heartbroken.
Stupid me. Why make myself unhappy?
Funny thing is, every one of my friends in Singapore keep asking me, Oei brudder, found a girlfriend yet? Everyone from the typical Singaporeans, Hongkonger, Fillipino, Danish all asked the same question. Argh. Finding a girlfriend is so difficult. I don't have the charm like you guys. I need the feeling for finding a gf to be there, not just find one so happily and get on with life. Bo chemistry, no talk. Some more, find someone here, then end of the year how? I don't like to kenna relationships that end fast. No purpose.
Why don't you guys help me to find one instead?

Hi Friend. Bye Friend. Really disappointed in you.
This entry is making me pissed even as I write it.
Machiam going out with my uncle and aunt for the fish and chips lunch with kevin was the best thing that happen today.
Got a bit light-headed after drinking with Uncle Albert and Kevin. Damn Paiseh. Coz its due to drinking white wine. Light headed cos of that.
Anyway time for the pissed off entry.
My friend wanted me to come along for his social event of Unimelb students. Bro, 1st thing to say, I go because I wanted to lend you support when you go for your function. And I don't appreciate you halfway siam because you have that kia-su mentality of people saying that you are a no life mugging student. You are what you present yourself to be, sincerely speaking, even if I'm not from Melbourne University, I also found that you can be very no life without trying even. So don't give people a chance to say you are a mugger by always showing that life sucks in school, money woes, education woes-kinda fuck up look. You need that look to tell people you have been busy studying is it? If this is the impression you show others, then don't complain about others.
And wake up. Your course has no life? Face it. Its YOU. YOU HAVE NO LIFE. Complaining you don't have a social circle, but when I try my best to improve it for ya, idea dumped because you wanna study, no money, but got money to go out with girls. You think there's a life in my course? Students come and go, no words exchanged, nothing said. I don't spend my time in the company of friends in my course, just for the sake of telling you, I spent most of my time shuffling in between lessons. You speak to your classmates in class, since you have a common topic. I don't. I'm not even close to comparing my education skills with anyone in the course. Small talk is what I do. I don't have a friend who takes 4 modules together with me. maybe 1, maybe 2 modules, thats all. Your life doesn't get interesting because others make it interesting. Make it interesting yourself. You want to know what I think of you now?
1. You dislike people calling you weak and unsettled? You make yourself look weak.
2. Always feeling pei chek? Then stop feeling so pessimistic. Look to the bright side of life.
3. Others have the advantage over you because of their background? Mugging for it is great. Just don't let it affect your life and the people around you.
4. I don't think everyone understands whats taught in the lecture. Stop being so hard on yourself. Thinking about it solves the problem? Cast it aside. Keep the good memories, dump the bad ones.
5. And fuck. You are not dumb. You just spend your time worrying about the side stuff. Get your focus
6. And you make me so freaking pissed by telling me that you don't want to go because you feel lethargic. Knn. But actually, you just cannot take it when people suan you.
In case you think I'm going because Ya Qi is there, please dump that thought. While going there, her being there is the last thing on my mind. I'm there to support this noodle-legged disappointment of a boy. This friend of mine whom I was so heng to meet in Melbourne. I don't pity him, in fact I find that if this stupid mentality of his is still around when I graduated, I might see him in the later pages of The Strait Times, just after the sports section. I don't want to see you there. I rather see you as the doc giving me the MC.

Life goes on.
Time passes by so fast. It's week 8 already. and most of my assignments are either due on week 9 or during week 10.
What should I do? I don't want to work with JP. He's just waiting for me to ask him to do the project. Grrr.
Now I'm currently helping the SSA as their photographer. I'm so not sure. Do I continue in the field of IT? Some parts of it interest me, but the programming part really bores me. Argh, cannot take it. But yet, I really love the computer security parts.
After coming here, somehow my definition of a dreamgirl has changed. Ha.
1. She must be as loving as I am to her. It takes two hands to clap.
2. Hopefully we share some common interests. Some memories to share.
3. She doesn't have to be of a certain height. Love matters, not height.
4. She doesn't mind a long distance relationship. I'll always think of u, no matter where are u.
5. I wish that she's someone who respects the older generation. And they will respect you.
6. Someone that is self-opinionated. I wouldn't want to date a stick.
7. She has to respect me and my decisions. And I will respect her with my heart.
8. No matter what happens, trust me. I will not betray your love.
9. She and me might have a common type of musical inclined interest. Music heals the soul.

Woo..an uneventful week at last.
Yay. Finally hit half the word limit for my Computer Security Control and Audit research paper. 1500 words.
Spent the whole of Saturday and Sunday typing for the research document. I hope I can finish it by the end of monday morning. Then I can go bind it and hand it up to Vic. I hope I'm doing correctly. No help for differences between an academic review and research paper. Confusion on my part maybe?
Why I wanna finish my assignment ASAP? Coz I need to revise for my modules, Closed test in May, together with Assignment dues in mid-May. I need good grades if I wanna stay here for postgrad studies and if I want a great career.
Yesterday, I was so freaking tulan with this classmate from my Web3d. Bloody hell, made me so #$^%^. She msged me on Msn asking me for my x3d codes, and to me, since the assignment date was already up, I just told her that no point to send her what. So guess what she did? She said ok. Then after awhile, she msged me on Skype to ask me the freaking exact same question with me giving the exact same answer. She said ok again. So I decided to ask her regarding the next assignment, and said that she was talking to her mom, so unable to chat with me.
This is when I almost blew up. KNN! YOU ASK ME A QUESTION, I ANSWERED. I ASK YOU BACK A QUESTION, YOU TELL ME YOU ARE BUSY. OK. YOU LOVE SAYING SORRY, BUT I DON'T THINK YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF SORRY IF ITS MEANT TO APOLOGIZE AGAIN AND AGAIN. THEN, YOU TELL ME YOU CANNOT CHAT WITH ME.
FUCK. GET THE POINT. I AM NOT CHATTING WITH YOU OR CHATTING YOU UP FOR THAT MATTER! I ONLY ASKED YOU HOW WERE YOU PROGRESSING. THATS ALL. IT WAS NOT MEANT TO "CHAT", I ASKED YOU A QUESTION BACK. YOU STARTED THE CONVERSATION!!
(If you don't know the meaning of the word, don't use it.)
Argh. Some people!
Anyway, I just joined the Singapore Student Association. Hope can have some fun from there!

Haven't blogged much lately.
Easter break passed so fast. Woo. Went to GOR with Jeffrey and friends, got alot of shots on the beautiful sunset. Got a new term "objectifying women".
Are some women really treated as objects by men? I tend to disagree. When I take a shot, I don't give a damn to objectifying stuff. I just wanna capture the moment of happiness. I can go to the Great Ocean Road anytime i want, but when I looked back. I won't remember, "Wah, it's a nice place.." I rather remember it as,"Now thats when I spent quality time with someone special."
When I take shots of people randomly, its not that I'm some sick voyeur out to get a sexual high from this, but rather, if I was a photographer, I would want you in my folio. Cuz your smile is mesmerizing, its something to think about the person, not in the object sense. I classify "objects" as dead stuff, things that don't give out warmth or feeling. People are living and breathing. Even stuff like a book isn't an object to me. Its a item that that contains feelings from someone. It's "living" to me too.
Haven't posted any pictures up this month too. Too busy with my assignments. Its really "Give one, take one." Managed to finish one really tough one on Thursday, decided to go clubbing. Funny thing was, I dislike RnB and House in singapore, But I kinda like the same genre in Melbourne. Blur. The clubbing scene here is awesome. Okay, maybe because the ones I frequent in SG are mainly popular with Bengs and Lians. But well, Thats besides the point. But now I realize Indonesian Chinese are really pretty. Monash somemore.
Why...RMIT why like that one?

Not seeing the point.
Haiz, not seeing the point in doing some stuff.
Oh yeah, I just received this student card for watching movies at 9.50. Woohoo....so happy, but then I realized, there's no fun in watching romance comedies with guys. Rarely guys will appreciate romance comedies, even if they do, they rather go with a girl than go with another dude of the same sex, apart from the queer blokes. Some guys need love to carry on. Not sex.
(Oh...I really missed the times I spent during my attachment with Keddrick, my drag queen buddy. Just to note, I don't condone transsexuals or queers.)
Passiveness is the key to success? I don't know. Maybe in projects or partnerships where your party has the upper hand maybe. But then in a relationship or something in a wooing phase. Its not the case. Being too passive has its bad points too. A guy won't know whether is he wasting his time wooing you if there is no erm, feedback. In a relationship, yeah, some guys may get tired with the relationship if it becomes really stale. What do I mean by stale? It simply means that when your partner gives in to everything you want, no questions asked. One day he/she will get so bored as compared to the initial excitement when the feelings started to bloom...then, Poof.
The Love Bubble is gone.
Pursuing a long distance relationship is another funny bubble. Everyone thinks, aiyah, a long distance relationship is a sure failure, you don't get to see each other here and there, you don't know what the other half is doing there, is he/she been faithful? He/She might be having it off with others now that you aren't by her side.
But I don't agree. A relationship is based on trust. We need to trust each other to keep the relationship going. Even if you don't believe that you are good enough for him/her, you gotta know hows life like overseas without a single kin. And somewhere in his/her heart, you are the closest kin he/she has. He/she has shared stuff with you that she wouldn't share with his/her parents, siblings and friends. You two share a special bond. And once there's a friction in it, don't make haste and start to pull it in, both ends will break. Instead, move your feet a bit, till the frictions' gone, and you are closer to each other, and then you will realized that standing by each other isn't so hard after all. In fact, its so much easier than pulling your other half towards you.

Memories Flood.
Ever wonder what happens when the body falls asleep, but your sub-consciousness is still awake?
I don't really know whether its true, but then sometimes, when I lie on the bed, dreaming to sleep, ends up when I close my eyes, I see my memories flooding back again.
I remembered the time, the exact feeling when I first held a special girl's hand while crossing the road to send her home, though unintentionally, but the feeling got captured in my memories. That feeling of being special, holding someone's hand as though if you let go, you are not going to see her again.
I remembered the time, the feeling when I confessed to her how much I liked her that time and was about to tell her but i was late, on the phone. Though she was already attached, she told me she really liked me then. The disappointment and shock caused me to become withdrawn, as if a spell was cast to encase my heart in ice. That was the time when my world seem so frozen, as if a blizzard had just passed and frozen everything in my heart. I remembered for the next 5 years, no one ever was able to be there in my heart, cos the only memory I had was her.
I just walked away 5 years of my life, waiting for time to turn back. Which it never did.
Time passed. And the month before I left to come to this 4 seasons a day place, we met us for lunch with a close friends, took so many pictures again. Felt it was just like the old times. But alas, the night ended. We took the cab home, she asked me whether I still kept her picture in my wallet, I sub-consciously nodded. She gave me a photo frame with a handwritten note inside. Then she told me that while I'm there, if I find another girl, go for her, and replace the note with her picture. So I just said I might just meet someone exactly like her.
My heart moans as I write these words.
School started, met new friends, at the SSA dinner buffet, saw this girl that Kelvin introduced. Really shocked. A striking resemblance. Though not alike, the feeling was similar. But I knew deep down, my heart was still frozen, and she could never replace her. Well, just treat her really well, but as a younger sis would do. No more than that.
I open my eyes just, my eyes rest on the empty photo frame she gave me. I look longingly at it, then I realized. She had given me the key to unlock my cursed frozen heart. When I think of the photo frame, I can see her smiling face and dovey eyes yet again. But now its no longer a still picture, I can feel her warmth and her waving to me there.
I smile. And say to myself.. The key has already been given to me, and the door is already open for me to take my 1st step out...
I stepped out, the fires in my dark loneness has re-ignited.

Alamak. Being mute for a few days can help or not?
Haiz, I've lost my voice. I can't even hear myself speak. Tomorrow I better steer clear from Dale's path, lest he ask me any Software Engineering questions.
Went to Palm Sunday mass with Cynthia today. Had a hard time getting her to understand what I wanted to say since I lost my voice yesterday. Then after that went down to Victoria market with her to help me buy some beef, since Eugene and gang finished the whole bag yesterday when they came down for dinner yesterday. They bought me a bottle of wine. Thanks alot.
Got two polo tees from Adidas yesterday, Eugene wanted to get a bag, but guess he couldn't make a choice. both tee cost 30 bucks together, so happy got such a good bargain.
Day 1 of dumb-ness.

New Photo Album
Finally.
Flickr has fixed the link to my new photo album.
This photo album is for my uploading of my photo shoots, while the other is more for like events or gatherings I go to. Otherwise, the latter will surely be really 'packed' due to the size and quanity of the other photos.
You can access it here.
Another reason why I'm creating a separate photo album is for my incoming Web3D assignment. I have to create a virtual VRML world. So I'm thinking of creating a entrance, leading to my mind. Then letting the person navigate around the mind, looking at pictures or movie of my various interest. No doubt, it might be too big a scope. But I'm thinking of trying it. :P.

Docklands Shoot
Went down to Docklands yesterday for a shoot. Got this term from Daniel.
We shot so many stuff! Me, Kelvin and Tan, I don't what's her full name, no one told me. Haha. And two other avid photographers. We took alot of nice shots. Of the South Bridge, Docklands Harbour, the seagulls and jellyfish.
I'm trying to upload the shots, but flickr seems to have a problem, cannot be seen. Wah lau eh.
Went out with my friends from Monash today after class. Met a new friend, Maul with a funny voice. First we went down to QV for lunch, Cynthia was missing the tom yum soup from home, so let her try what I found. Glad she liked it. Then we went to Melbourne Central, the guys and her went for a TMNT movie, but i didn't go, coz watched it the day before already. And no way, I won't watch a show twice here. Probably not going to watch 300, abishek going to send it to me. Thanks man. I went home to do some stuff, met them again at 8 for dinner.
Don't know who mentioned that Melbourne was suffering from drought, and I got really soaked today. (-_-") I should have brought the Gortex. Surely will make a new fashion statement. ROFL.

Koko Black...richness
Went out with Eugene yesterday to Box Hill and two of his friends from RMIT University, Kelvin and Pamela.
Pamela intro-ed us to this ma la huo guo(hot claypot soup). Eugene decided to ask for medium flavour due to a past experience. Rofl. Then we tucked in to the food. Yummy! but then the chilli oil was like....Argh! so hot. I coughed and coughed at my 1st attempt to swallow the soup, making the lady at the opposite table luff and ask me whether was the soup very hot. 0_O. Strangely enough the soup was hot enuff to make the 4 of us so full, that we didn't really eat the side dishes. We just spent our time trying to 'conquer' the hot soup. Woo.
Snapped a few pictures of Box Hill Station, and Richmond Station. Wow, the air in Richmond was so fresh!! It felt like I was in some sort of heavenly train station. Maybe its the air difference actually. Managed to get 2 postcard pics into my camera. Yay.
After that we decided to go to Camberwell market to check out the stuff. Sadly, market closed, so we just 'jalan jalan' around the place. Decided to go to Koko Black. Its a cafe that looks like a chocolate factory. The chandelier looks like some chocolate design and there was this cute wabbit chocolate that Adelin will surely love. Wah eat chocolate until cannot tahan. Oh yeah, I've decided to set up a new photo album called Foodie Deli. Inside I will place all the set meal and delicious stuff in my travels. Haha...'travels' its a nice word to use.

Time Flies!
Time flies so fast.
I've already stayed in Melbourne City for close to a two months. Projects are getting due to soon, have to finish the rest asap.
Really, when you get to mix with people nearby, you can more or less see their true colours. Some people always think they are right maybe, but maybe you gotta look deeper to see what kind of bastard you really are. Some bastards think they are smart, while others assume the people around them are stupid. I think this bastard is the latter.
Apart from the blackout on Friday that affected half of North Melbourne and the BBQ yesterday, pretty much did nothing. Everyone on the block was affected, and we didn't know what to do until the power came back at around 2a.m.(Seems that it was due to a fire station that caught fire. How ironic can Australia be? ) I'm pretty much too sian to upload my pictures i took in the 2 weeks. Sorry Jeffrey.
Things I wish I blogged about:
--The Moomba Waterfest last week. (The ensue of the fireworks. I snapped till my hands shook..again.)
--Cooked quite alot of soupy stuff.
Sometimes, I wonder. Are girls really needed in life? You fall in love, you fall out of love, you yearn to be in the company and memory of someone, but you ain't getting any. Love is selfish, or so they say. Getting a girlfriend here just seem so redundant, but its nice to have someone to spend time with, instead of brooding yourself with work, work and work. Why is it redundant? Well, simple. You never know what's going to happen next time, probably, your girl might find some other interest in another cute hunk, and the connection snaps, you are left stranded alone back home. Just like what happened in Singapore, do I still feel dejected? And yet girls always complain of guys not being able to be trusted.
Ru commented that I seem or behave like a playboy, but she's mistaken. And I clearly wanna clarify that. Not that her comment matters much to me though. I believe that one should always be open for many choices, not just one straight option. I really have to thank Marcus for this. Your ideals, mate. You might be interested in many different girls due to their character which attracts you, but wait, its the chemistry or how you both can 'click' that really counts. If you fancy someone maybe because she's a Taurus, Virgo, Pisces or some other celestial being, er...thats still your starting point. -_-" But 2 hands need to clap to make the journey moving right? You turn the key to start the engine, but if there's no fuel to fuel it won't move. Not even a single roll. And what makes the fuel? The synthesis of both parties. The journey gotta start to know each other better.
There. explanation done. Shouldn't be too cheem for her to understand.

My Sassy Girl
I just watched My Sassy Girl again on the DVD. I've watched it upteem times, and I'm always so touched by the show between the male lead and the female lead.
I just love the part where:
1. The guy gives her flowers while she is playing the Canon D song.
2. The girl is so touched by the ten rules the guy has for her and goes to the subway to look for him.
3. They found out they were meant for each other all the while.
It's a really fairytale ending huh? But I wouldn't mind this to happen to me in real life. I don't love fairy tales, but I LOVE this fairytale.
Went down to Serena's place to try her prawn mee, hmm I need to try to learn how to cook prawn mee soup, really nice. But she needs to put more prawns. And then for dinner, I cooked mushroom and beef rice. I'm getting the hang of cooking beef, but due to my stupid stove, I can't cook chicken drumstick. I wish I could, I miss the chicken drumstick my mom cooks. If only I had the receipe. Haiz.
Aikido nowadays is getting more fun, but the major thing of why I'm here is to get a degree, and probably a martial art degree at the same time. I'm training in University of Melbourne and RMIT University at the same time at $8 per week. :P I gotta work well with my peers. Finish my damn assignments, Grr..I really hate the people who are asking the lecturers stupid questions, don't they know asking this kind of question is actually creating more problems for urself?

Why o why?
Jus the 3rd week to go and I've some news to say.
1. Software Engineering Fundamentals: My assignment mate is MIA. Cannot find him unless he finds me.
2. Web3d: can get the idea, but not the logic.
3. The other 2 are ok.
Juz went for the Moomba Waterfest yesterday, WOW! there were so much fireworks to see, they literally lighted up the whole night sky. So many colors, and Kelvin won 2 soft toys, and we decided to give one to Myra. Strangely, seeing her with the toy turtle, reminds me of a little kid. Haha. She just looks so comical carrying it, oh yeah, and me too, while waiting for her at the reception with the turtle.
Will be posting up the pics soon. Woohoo.
You know, I seriously believe when one goes overseas to study, one needs to go out and explore the place, not just sit at home and mug away ur time, True, you gotta study so as not to waste ur parent's $$$. But then, if u mug away, do you get back ur lost time..?
SHA just gave me a set of steak knives today, finally replenished my kitchen.

Trip to Caufield, Monash University!
Went down to Caufield station from Melbourne Central station alone yestersday, quite an experience taking the Connex subway. The staff are really helpful though. Thumbs up!
Finally I reached Caufield in around 20 mins. Waited at the station for some time for Eugene. Wah lau, both of us are really late kings. Then we went down to meet his friends over in school. A very nice bunch, all of them. I was so happy to know that William will be joining us later, since there will be someone going home with me, think William had the same feeling too. Haha. I realized the Malaysians over in Monash are a tat much prettier then the ones from RMIT University. *Shake head.* (Its not a individual compliment, its a general compliment.)
- Why life so unfair..?
We took the bus to Chadstone, 1st time taking the bus there. woo...very comfy..Alot of sales at Chadstone, bought this cool board shorts from Quiksliver. I realized I never really bought shorts until I came to Melbourne. Wonder why?
Eugene was grumbling about what I wrote in my previous entry. He commented, "Not interested. Sabo me..! Wait people don't want talk to me!" So I urge all readers of the blog not to take to heart my previous entry, its just to sabo someone. :P
(Eugene will surely slam me when he sees this. For those who don't know Eugene, he's a really nice guy with boyish charms, enuff to make any girl here think he is still youngish, but he is FIT. haha. But don't be mistaken, he can really pack a punch as one of the seniors in his aikido club in Singapore. Any single girl out there, I recommend this dude. Hmm, as what the Nougat seller in Vic Market told me, don't play play.)
-wonder where that joker learnt it from.
By the way, the pics are here.
and William, Summer Fest pics are here.

SummerFest' 07
Went for the Summer Fest 07 that was organized by the Singapore Student Association yesterday. Went for the City Tour early in the morning, and as expected, Daniel, Terence and Kana cancelled after their watching of the Man U VS Liverpool match the day before. And it was also expected that not many Singaporeans came in the morning, coz all sleeping. But luckily I came, else wouldn't have met Eugene there. Wah so happy to see him. Best buddy you can find.
Walked around the whole of Melbourne City, abit boring coz walked around so many times already, then came back to RMIT around 4.30, get ready for the most important event: Buffet Dinner!
Met so many people and ate so much more missed food from Singapore. Nasi lemak, rendang, spicy chicken...etc.
There was this girl called Myra there, really very petite. And adorable some more. I think Eugene is interested :P, seems that he was the 1st to ask her for her number, then after that, all other guys followed suit. Eugene is still denying it...
I felt she looked alot like someone, but brushed that matter off my mind. Only bring back sad memories. But really, the resemblance is uncanny. And how all other guys were attracted to her was even more nostalgic. ( Think spelt wrongly, ah forget it..) Even the voice sounds abit like...Aiyah, STOP!
Back to ur senses. No matter how much u yearn for her, the feelings aren't going to be returned. You 2 are only great friends now, regret if you want, but there's no one to blame but urself.
Then there was this other not so erm popular girl, since I was busy chatting here and there, I notice Yao Zong and his group, so jalan over, there were people taking photos for them, so I just helped Yao Zong grab a pic. Then I chatted with his groupmates, then there was the girl in blue, she spoke really softly, almost couldn't hear a thing. Joke was, I only got ...dentistry actually. But really, she 's kinda adorable. My type of girl. :P Wanted to ask for her number, but paiseh, so many friends there. So I asked Yao Zong, instead he made a mistake, tot is another girl. Haiyo. Nw hope got chance, since he told me she's from Melbourne Uni. Hmm, shall go Melbourne Uni more for training!
Btw, to Xian, pics will be up tmr. Go my photo album see.

Queer Club.
Anyone ever wonder what is the meaning of "Queer" in Melbourne?
It means couples of the same sex. It might seem a taboo in certain Asian countries, but obviously its a commonplace here in Melbourne. Just today, while I was waiting for my next lecture to start, so went to Melbourne Central Station to jalan jalan. Was passing by this car, then i peered inside and realized that there was this couple making out inside!
In common sense its ok, but both were guys!

Culture shock..!
After my 1st day of school I realized there are a few differences here from the local polys in Singapore. That was the closest match then.
Here, the lecturers don't care whether you come for lessons, they start the class and see how many people are there, and carry on. There's no attendance marking. neither in tutorial or labs. And labs and tutorials are pretty much similar to each other.
Went down for aikido yesterday. Class was really small. I think the people in Australia prefer blood sports, such as kickboxing. But then well, I enjoy the class and I'm starting from basics again, so tuning up my techniques. Informed the instructor of my current grade. Got quite a weird response, but seriously I quite like the guy, he's really tedious teacher.

Yawn. School Starts. Today...
End of my holiday mood.
My 1st lecture is at 1.30pm, in Software Engineering Fundamentals., but not so sure what goes on in this module though. Followed by Web3d Technologies Tutorial and Lecture. Don't think there's any tutorial for the 1st week though, still gotta go down and check it out and purchase my lecture notes from the bookshop at the same time. Went down to the flea market at Vic market yesterday, got this really cool T-shirt, there's this two other designs that I wanna get from there. And you know what? Its' open tomorrow and I have no classes then. Yeah!
But need to revise for today lecture yup. lotsa money been spend for this education. Urgh..
Yesterday ate my newly concocted mushroom chicken with penne soup. Yummi...!
Wonder is Jiayan or Huihui coming down in June? Well, its a long way to go..

Combat Engineers. My Floor.
Back to blog again for this week.
Being really bored recently. Everyone has their own orientation or timetable to settle, no time for good o' friends gathering. Well, I can't blame them and I won't. Its not my fault that I kiasu and settled my timetable 1 hour after it opened up for registration right?
Funny thing is, the singaporeans on the 1st level, which is my floor, especially the guys, are all from Combat Engineers. Wtf. A Real Coincidence. So well, my group busy for me, so I just go meet some other people yeah? Met this guy from RM 315, nice guy, abit klutzy when cooking, but well, it also took me some time to learn how to hold the spatula though. Then he brought me to meet this cute Hongkong babe, I didn't really see her fully, since she was hiding behind the door. The people in this private apt really have this habit, its like, if its someone bad, he/she will just need to push the door, and u will be pushed back by the damn heavy door. My advice is, open a slight gap if you must, but pls don't hide behind the door. Later I went downstairs, met this Singaporean girl who just moved in few days ago, I think. don't really quite remember. I didn't ask her for her name though, just know that she stays in RM305. Recognized her by her singlish accent. Then met a local student at the orientation yesterday, she was chinese-thai, 19, by the name of Paula. Jus got her contact for further chatting maybe. And hell, my phone's out of credit. think i should take a jog at 7 tmr down to 7-11 for a recharge.
Dennis came by today, to buy his bedsheet and pillow. It got me thinking, I should consider to wash my bedsheet soon. Hope I have a spare sheet around...School's going to start next week. Gotta start preparation, and buying my lecture notes. Juz a look at my lecture notes yesterday, almost fainted...Javascript? Oh noooo...Mugging time is gonna start. Think one of these days i should make a trip down to the BIZ sch bookshop to look for my lecture notes. Lets see, Monday...1st lesson starts at 1.30, till 8pm. Software Engineering Fundamentals and Web3D Technologies...I only got da book for the latter.

Chow Time: Home-Cooked Food!
Time is been spent well, but money matters is another thing.
The food here is really expensive, though the quantity is rather huge. But well, since the Victoria Market is so near my place, we decided to start learning how to cook on our own.
Each of us plays the role of the:
1. Master Chef = Daniel
2. Apprentice Chef = Terence, Leonard
And we started cooking! These few days, all we did what just to stay at home for lunch and dinner, cooking lamb, beef, pasta and such!
You can view the pics here. :P

Got my Student Card!
Happy Chinese New Year...Ang Bao loss.
Happy New Year...
Well, here's some well wishes. But crap, my internet cable malfunctioned early this morning. Luckily, Wesley was able to loan me his extra cable and yes, it worked just fine. And now, I'm going to test to see whether my stupid excuse of a photo upload does work at all. Its really fustrating, regarding SHA's limit on bandwidth transfer of 10GB per month, and you know what? It includes the upload and download. Sheesh.

And this is RMIT University.

And This is the really cool sunset by Yarra River.
(Notice the shape of the sun..)
My poor ang baos. Lost in Singapore while I'm here. I'll have to watch my budget here. Anyway, I've learned to cook some great stuff, will be posting pics of them soon, provided they can be uploaded. I'm going to call the ISP tomorrow to check regarding the restrictions. :P
1. Pasta with Tomato Puree and Red Wine Sauce
2. Bacon
3. Beef Stew
4. Sambal Mushroom
5. Bacon 'N' Mushroom
6. Stir-Fry Beef
7 Stir-Fry Kangaroo Meat.
(It was a new dish though, felt it tasted something like liver.)
Made a bunch of new friends.
1. Anson
2. Daniel

4. Paco
5. Aloysius
6. Wesley

1st day of Enrolment
Time passes by really fast when u least expected it to.
Juz today I was at the University to complete the rest of my enrolment, funny thing was that the Hub was overwhelmed by the number of applications today, ended up with insufficient cards for the making of the Student Card.
Will be going to school this few day for the computer science induction programme. Hope I don't get lost after so long time in National Service. Wish me luck.
Gotta buck up if I wanna clear these 2:
1. Programming 3.
2. Software Engineering Fundamentals.
There's some problem with the stupid Internet connection, I can't upload pics, hopefully it isn't cos' I got an awful lot of pics to upload. Damn. And the pics are too big, gotta use Fireworks to edit the pics, if all else failes, please goto my photo album to check out the pics k?

Will be going to school this few day for the computer science induction programme. Hope I don't get lost after so long time in National Service. Wish me luck.
Gotta buck up if I wanna clear these 2:
1. Programming 3.
2. Software Engineering Fundamentals.

I'm back.
After a long hiatus, I'm finally back.
Life in Melbourne is so laid-back. I'm enjoying a can of foster's as I write. And its true, you can almost get all the four seasons in a day.
Was so happy on the day I flown, not because I disliked staying in Singapore, but more to the number of friends who came to send me off. So touched. Had lunch with Xian early in the noon. Then he still came to send me. Well, james as an exception though.
Spent one week with my father in Melbourne, went around to settle my bank account, fees and groceries, woah...went to Great Ocean Road, saw the nice rock formations. went down to take a look in my school. Lotsa nice stuff to look at and feel.
Shit. Cannot upload .

The day is...today.
Well, guess I'm leaving today. In the evening, there's people to see me off, happy that I matter in their life, for those who cannot make it, happy that I'm there in their heart. For those who have made me something, I'm sorry I can't get it from you in time. Very sorry, but my heart will always treasure you. For those who care for me, God bless you.
For those who like blasting me here, I'm sorry for watever shit I gave you, sorry for caring too much about you, guess its not something you deserve. For those who keep asking when and where I'm going, bloody hell, I've already repeated upteem times.
Funny, I still get the feeling that I'm not going there for a year, yes I know, time passes by fast, soon it will be a year and I'll be back..but I've been in Singapore all my life. I love this little island, the Merlion. where to find?
My friends here, relatives, grandmas.

My Siblings. Take Care.

My Grandma. You are always in my heart..

My Other Grandma. You were there for me...I remember.

Friends's Class. (2007)

My Class. (2007)
I will miss you guys.

Arrows on the Target.
5 more days before I leave Singapore.
Had a farewell dinner with my relatives yesterday at this Cafe 211 at Holland Village, well yeah, my hair sucked, sorta, need to get a proper haircut before I leave. Its nuts to spur 15 bucks on the hair, ya know.
The Pics are Here:
Then today, went down to DmArchery to practice shooting some arrows and to get Henry to understand what "focus" means. Turns out that I somewhat got him addicted to shooting. Oh my Goodness. And he is so pro in shooting. Talented, got wushu/aikido/tajiquan etc, still got this.

I got a few good shots too, but forgot to take them down, two arrows at the bullseye together, Wasted!

Katong Laksa...Missing You.
Wao. Katong Laksa never tasted so nice. Its not that I never eat before...but just that thinking about missing it for the next 10 months or so. Feel so sad.
Zixian came over to my place today, 2nd time playing Winning Eleven on the PS2, bloody hell. I sux at soccer. Guess I only can win in FIFA Street 2 and Street Ball. Haha. Kao, I played Soul Calibur with him and lost the first round. My Goodness. Haha.
Now, about sending off. Alot of friends say that they willl send me off, but really, I doubt most who said will be coming, cos its abit too late for them, and its Ladies' Nite. Boo Hoo.
Then need to settle my arrival service with RMIT...pay rest of my semester school fees. Wah lau. Never say when need to pay. Then gotta choose modules for major, slog and mug. wack exams and assigment. Keng during the aikido, maybe take up Wing Chun. Hope its cheaper than SG. Maybe get a girl or two. haha. Getting people 'romantically' interested in me is unbelievable, even for myself. Which girl will be so great..? Gee.

Fun with my cam for the week.
Being very busy packing up my bag, didn't have time to update my blog nor check out the comments that people posted.
Well, there was something new, I do admit that sometimes I'm too kaypoh for my own good, but I'm not going to change because someone who doesn't identify himself/herself tells me to. Anyway, thanks alot for that truthful advice, but next time leave the entry on my comment page, cos' sometimes I might miss out the entry. Haha.
(Adelin is going to say, "WTF..." for this.)
Anyway, Juz thanking you for visiting my blog though, seems you are the only flame here, and I gotta continue with my blog entry.
Jiayan and Cheng Mun called me down for makan at New York New York during the weekend, thanks to reading Adelin's blog, I got 'hooked' to that restaurant. And Boy, Cheng Mun was really late. Then the very next day, early in the morning, had Pastamania with James, bloody hell, that guy ar, no money still want buy soft toy for girls, buai tahan him. So treat him makan, after that, went to meet Joy for dinner at Suntec, and we had Pastamania again, Only diff was that the one in TM was much better quality. Anyone eaten soupy pasta? Then we went down to Cafe Cartel for dessert.

Cam Cam Cam.
Yay.
Finally after such a long wait. My accomodation has been settled. Woohoo! Furthermore, my sis has purchased my Casio exilim Z60 for me already. Whats left now is to settle buying my laptop cover and camera screen protector..my luggage, and my heart.
Still recovering from a terrible backache and neck strain. Hopefully I'll be up and ready for training next week. Just picked up a new copy of the FHM 2007 GND. I love collecting this series man, and also bought a new issue of Men's Health. Eunice is still the Gamer Girl..haha.
Went to Siu Fung's place yesterday for a gathering, nice place leh. We ate the ducky, chicken wings prepared by his mom, the salad by Amy and her boyfriend, Ray and Peipei's pizza, Christina and Ben's pasta.
And oh yeah, I really loved the pasta.

My Casio Exilim Z60. Slim huh?

The babes with Garfield. Amy looks real fit. Hahaha.

People I will be missing much.
Leaving soon. But there are some people on my mind that I cannot leave behind.

By the way..for people who don't know me personally, this is my grandmother. She's a very great person in my eyes and heart, cause she was the one who looked after me all the while since I was a toddler. May God bless her with good health. Thank you Lord.

My friend James the techno-geek. Any new electronic item, he will surely be there for it. I wish him a great year ahead, and may he find a better girl in his life, and get his bloody education properly and quickly. apart from the low-life babes that normally pose great pictures of themselves on the Net, only to reflect badly on their real self. Dude, you are 23 this year, please buck up. Your buddy here don't really want to "bua" you everytime he sees you. And please, do meet Nani more in church k?Hopefully, I'll meet you up for lunch before I leave.
Thats all for now.

Yay got a new mouse.
My old Asus mouse is getting crappy, the pointer keeps flying all over the screen. Guess its time for it to go into retirement scheme now. Oh my, I'm getting all CPF. Gotta kick the habit already now. But I'll continue to use it as back-up now and then. :P
Anyway, I have got a new mouse, which is the Razer Krait. Got it at 44 bucks from Sim Lim Sq, bundled with a mouse pad/battle pad. Absurd rubbish.
Went to makan with Nani, Daniel, Adelin and Desmond. Went down to Family Buffet to eat. Strangely, after Ording, my stomach seems to have stopped asking for more food, in the sense that I get full faster than normal. Think its my body's call to cut stuffing myself. So called, that concluded my makaning with my groups of friends before leaving Singapore. I was chatting with Xunru just yesterday about feeling uncertainty in making the trip, really have to depend on myself there. Have to push myself to study if I'm gonna reach out and get my goals.
I have around 2-3 weeks left. There were some things that I wished to tell someone, but should I? Mind is in turmoil now. I'm not stepping on various boats, just have feelings for more than 1 girl, but how am I to discern if its love or infatuation? Sian.
I wonder how Sean is doing with his Uni applications?

Lunching at the restaurant. The couple.

Desmond and Nani.

My new mouse. The Razer Krait.
I've finally figured out why I couldn't upload pictures these few days. Turns out its because I didn't enable it. Bloody Hell! Feel so dumb.
A late post here though. Just the picture of the gifts given to me before I go. Really appreciated it. Thanks guys.

Peace be unto us.
Peace to the people around the world.
Thinking about it now, Life has gone all quiet. I'm not making any new friends recently, nor are there currently conversations going on. Besides with "mud crab", that is.
I don't know. I do find that there is something missing in my life, but what is it? Is it the warmth of a close relationship? or parental concern? My last few days after working in CPF can only be described in 2 words.
No Life. I feel so alone...Brr.

Gifts with Feelings. Astrology Signs Affinity?
Oh yeah, promised to upload pics of the 2 presents my friends gave.
But then, the problem is that Blogger won't display the pictures. Haiz.
Oh well, on to the next topic: Astrology Signs
I read somewhere that for Leos, the best suitable matching sign for them are the Taurus Sign.
Reason being, when both are matched together, the equation is equal to "Extremely Loving."
And that's what I'm looking for in a relationship.
Strangely, I don't have a single female friend whom I know that is born with the Taurus Sign..
(-_-")
Among the various relationships I've been with, and the various infatuations which I had, none of them were any cow-types. But yes I do have guy friends who are of the Taurus sign. If I'm looking from a negative aspect, that means that I'm gonna be a bachelor forever, while looking from a positive aspect, it means the Right One hasn't arrived into my world yet. :)
(Signs of a brighter future.)
Signs which I have matched with
(R)Leo to Aquarius = Most Entertaining.
(R)Leo to Cancer = Emotionally Straining.
(I)Leo to Pisces =A romantic couple?
(i) Leo to Sagittarius = Truly passionate?
I can't exactly say both relationships were the highest points of my life, neither can I say they were the lowest. But certainly, both weren't really happy. I channelled alot of energy into the previous one, we were happy, but often broke up for the slightest reasons. If one party doesn't respect the other, making the other party wait without a valid reason, why? If we can't trust each other, what's the point? If you couldn't even wait for me for a year, even knowing that I'm gonna stay faithful to you, give me up and drop me on the spot. Love has faded.
The most previous one, I really loved the cancerian, you were just so tao and sassy. I know u tried, but you gave me up for the other guy. Am I not worth treasuring? Something you can want for a time, dump after awhile? Throw your tantrums at, not listening to good advice. And once you realized that the other guy was just toying with your feelings, you came back and asked me for consolation, naturally I loved you still then, and obliged. But time passed, realization made me understand that I exist only if you needed me, that's why I declined that we patched up. Once a tear has been made, no matter how much dedicated sewing is done, there's still a scar..and needs time to be remove. I chose the other option, although I loved you.
An excerpt from the passage: " Leos invest all their emotions into their love affairs; but if things go wrong, they come down to earth with a bump and once a Leo's heart is broken, it takes a long time to mend."
Am I too nice? :(

Fees Up Up Up!!!!
Aikido organization is really getting on my nerves. Every year there are fees revision. its sapping up our money!
Check the prices out.
6th kyu - $45
5th kyu - $50
4th kyu - $55
3rd kyu - $60
2nd kyu - $80
1st kyu - $90
Junior dan - $200
1st dan - $450
450! Its a month of my NS pay. Now that aikido has become so commercialized in Singapore. Its getting really hard to find good students. All you get are those rich enough to get chopped. It gives me the idea, are we trying to spread the teachings of O'Sensei, or are we trying to rope in more people to pay the fees. I don't think this is spreading aikido. In fact, it gives us aikidoist in Singapore a bad reputation, in saying that we can get our belts if we pay enough money.
The worth of a belt rank? The number of times you pay maybe. I wouldn't be shocked if I come back from studies to find that Keagan is a black belt. He's rich what. This is just the idea of Singaporeans. You crave so much for the belt, in the end you end up buying it. All this derives from people who are intending to show off their belt.
In the end, the colour of the belt become worthless, as well as meaningless.
U know, I get the idea. Aikido is for rich people only, not for us poor students who can't pay a cent to keep up with the price rate. Hello, even the GST doesn't change so fast. The teachings have really degenerated.

Farewell. Munch. Memoirs and such.
Is Vodka really that strong? I don't think so. But the my sis's bf and friend were, well, how to say, almost knocked out by the alcohol.
*shakes head*
What a funny feeling. Both Alvin and Cindy gave me photo-related stuff. Alvin gave a photo album, while Cindy gave a photo frame. Sad thing is...there's no good photo to put there. Sob..sob..
Will update images of the two gifts once I'm done. :P
I'm done with the job at the CPF Board. I was considering maybe to sign up for the job once I get back from studies over in Melbourne. But well, I was also considering for other types of jobs.
1. Customer Service Officer.
2. IT Marketing-related.
Went to Ray's birthday today. Saw how his parents celebrated his birthday by cutting the cake with him. I relived memories of how my parents used to do the same for me. I wish I could do it again before I go. But don't think there's such a chance. *Sad.* Remembered the stupid Yam Cake they kept buying, the worst cake I've ever eaten. Remembered the one and only Mango Cake which they bought, cause no yam cake. My fav flavour.
My best wishes to my sister. Happy Birthday.

New York New York!!
The food there is fabulous. The favour and the amount served is rarely found in Singapore. Nice ambience. Apart from the stuck up waiter that is.
He seem really unhappy to serve the tables and queried in such a manner that wanted me to get lost if I wasn't dining there.
This shows a stark contrast in the restaurant and the waiter. So poorly trained. Anyway. I'm not going to bother about him.

The Giant Burger of the Year. Woo.

My Set: Pork Ribs

Yummy Desert: Fried Mars Bars
Will blog about the New Year Celebrations when I return from dinner.

The start of the new year 2007

Just a short note about the ending of the 2006.

Few more days to the end
Few more hours to the end of 2006.
Few more days to the end of my temp contract.
Few more months to my departure.
Few more sems to my graduation.
Jus a few more days to the end of my job. Just spent the whole day trying to set up the newly bought notebook for Auntie Irene. Think there's something wrong with the wireless settings for Uncle Michael's wireless router. Even his own notebook is unable to get an ip address from his own computer.
So happy. I just received news that naruto manga is out again. But even so, I really wish the last episode of Shin Ankyo Jushin will be out before my departure. And I really wish that I can see my EVisa when I log into my email account later. Its being so long and its causing a delay to my plans for booking the air ticket and the accomodation for my stay. Also, Huihui made me really disappointed today. I was considering getting a digital camera, and she advised me not to get one 1st as her friend could get it at cost price, now she's telling me that her friend finds it a bother and told me to get it myself, and hello, I just came back from Sim Lim Sq after browsing thru the cameras. Sian.

A CPF Memoir
It just takes a single grammarical error to cause a communication breakdown.
I'm refering to the various articles posted by the Strait Times with regards to the Progress Package. To the educated Singaporean, it's just another reminder for the signing up of the package. But for the iliterate average Singaporean, especially the older generation, it was the cause for total havoc at my workplace.
People of all ages, young and old, all came down to apply for what they thought was an up and coming new Progress Package, which in reality, was just a simple reminder for those who have not signed up for their package. What result was the many disappointed faces for those old folks who thought there was cause for joy for money was rolling freely into their pockets.
For the young, it was obvious they weren't keen on reading the article, but instead just followed with their older relatives to claim their thought-money. A simple case of monkey see, monkey do. Only after further explanation did they realize their folly and left empty handed. There were even others who went to the extend of making further enquiries, but unhappy with the explanation of not getting money, decided to try their luck queueing.
Why then, may i ask, the reason for the further enquiries, if you are unsure of our professionalism? There were even others who blindly filled up forms and tried to collect the forms for future use. Others who wanted to queue their whole day away just for the chance that there might be a mistake, to the extend of going to the various counters time and again?
Others who really rocked, were those who blindly joined the queue, and once they reach the counter, would just sit there, and ask, "What am I queueing for?", or "I don't know. I see people queue, I queue lor." Sometimes I really have the urge to ask them whether did they check with their children regarding the information, but yet, I have to keep my mouth shut, and keep inside the box.
A minute of condolence for the people who died in the taiwan quake. I hope Tan Hui wasn't there.

Merry Christmas!
Just had lotsa turkey today. Really loved eating the meat.
But well, I seem to be moving to a less food phase. Cuz I don't wanna waste my money in Australia and become a glutton. I need to trim off the spare tyre and hopefuly gain a few muscles?
But all talk doesn't do much. I've to tell myself and get down to the problem.
Anyway, got 2 sweaters for my xmas gifts. One was a suggestion from auntie irene, the other was a present from auntie dorothy. Well, whats left is just my choice for the winter jacket. which i have not found a suitable place to buy from. If anyone has any recommendations, please feel free to inform me k? Now I'm also considering whether should I go ahead and buy my prescribed text from the clementi bookshop. Its cheaper here anyway.

The Aikidoist.
Oh well, I've decided that I will not post my pics here after all, but probably will be posting them in my photo album. The link's located on the top right.
As for the rest of the information on the CPF ppl I've yet to written about. Well, I won't be writing about them. No point actually. Juz 2 more weeks to the end of my contract. Hmm, to put it shortly, I really enjoyed working there after all. Maybe when I return back from Melbourne, I might consider taking up a job there. Well, its just food for thought.
Back to the topic..
Today we were discussing about the type of people learning aikido. There are basically 3 types of people.
1. Those who take great care in training themselves together with others.
2. The lone wolf.
3. Those who train up on the expense of others.
I admired those who are willing to take the extra step to help those around him/her improve, but I absolutely depise those of the 3rd kind. Why, Aikido is about training yourself and taking care of your partner, you do not treat ur partner like a rag doll just for the benefit of yourself.

Working in the CPF Arena.
Life working in the CPF Service Centre has its ups and downs.
There's a variety of "heros" there, talking about it in a DOTA context. Haha.
1. The Never-Say-Die Auntie
2. The "I'm from OVERSEAS!" Guy.
3. The "IT Savvy" Dude.
4. The "I can't find the submit button" hero.
5. The "Govt got give free $$?" Granny.
6. The Cash-and-Carry Guy.
(There's more to come..cannot remember all.)
1. The Never-Say-Die Auntie
Bio: She the best Singpass user I've ever met, reason being she just refuse to admit that she has forgotten her password and is lazy to queue up. She will just keep trying and just "camp" at the booth, until finally her account has been locked out. Even after persuading her to go queue, she has the tendency to come back halfway just to continue wacking the wrong ID.
Tactic: Juz tell her try some more, and she can forget about getting back to work on time. :)
2. The "I'm from OVERSEAS!" Guy
Bio: Classical Phrase. Some people just got the misconception that as long as they studied overseas, they do not need to queue up in the queue. Spare a thought for other people in the queue, staying overseas doesn't give u any priority to jump queue. Somemore with ur altitude.
Tactic: Juz carry on queueing and shuddup. If you think u can do cut and see what the other people will do to you.
Juz 2 for today, I'll continue tmr. Zzzz.

The 4th MVG Awards, after a long hiatus.
Time for the next award.
Its not the least of them all, but much actually, is the most beautiful card I've ever received from someone and also the 1st birthday card I've ever received from someone special. Nothing can replace the affection I have for the card and the person who gave the card to me.
And so I present:

The 1st Birthday Card I've ever received.
The person who gave me this card, well, her name's Cindy. I juz love calling her "ball" or "goldfish", cuz she's someone who has the biggest "windows to the soul" that I know. She's an adorable person too, both in the looks and the character department. Juz what any guy would want in a girlfriend. Seems I'm doing some advertising here..But oh well, she's attached.

Shasha!
Went down to Esther's and Ivan's place yesterday. In case no one here knows, Esther is my aunt, and Ivan is my future uncle-in-law. Don't knw why, from the 1st time I saw them, I realized that they were more or less a perfect match for each other.
On this Sunday, its their wedding. Aiyah! where's my wedding gift?! Actually I haven't got one. but I really hope to get one for this aunt of mine. What should I get?
Pei chek ar. Working with Clara is making me so fed up, she can be so bossy at times, and she can don't feel so. We are helping esther, not your employees.

The Wedding Couple.

The Best Mate? Shasha..
