Today was really a boring day. I'm feeling that my life is really down in the dumps. Nothing interesting to do. Jobs needed to pass the time. Feel so lonely alone. No money after ORD. Sundays are really the boring days of the week.

Cheap Shoe Sale.

Yesterday, I was shopping at Orchard for a new basketball shoe, since my former shoe, also from AND1 was certified BER. (haha, army term.)
Wll, I've discovered that AND1 shoes last longer for me, so its become my brand of choice than the usual Nike, Adidas, Reebok, whatever.

Was chatting to my friend staying in Melbourne a few days ago. I find that he's changed. Overly worried about the girl he likes. And he's become totally obilivous to the feelings of the people around him. Last time, when I asked for the girl's MSN Address from him, he refused to give it to me, fearing the worst. Goodness.

What can I do about it? So recently, I was chatting to him, then I asked him for the address again, knowing full well that there was some tension between him and the girl. Fyi, they are just friends. So in the end he did give me the email. Yesterday, he asked me whether i had a blog, although it was common knowledge as it was shown on my blog name. Never mind about that. But then the 1st qn that he asked me was whether the girl was online, made me feel very pissed off with him. Him, thinking that the girl had placed his contact in the block list, so he couldn't see whether she was online ornot. Then since I'm here with the email. Probably I could see her then. Thats my presumption, and he accused me of not trusting him. Hey bud, you didn't trust me with her email at first, why the sudden change? Obviously, I would think he needs a source to find her since he thinks like this.

Come on, anyone will be pissed if a particular person keeps msging, calling, emailing you non-stop. For my case too, I will, if you keep brooding on the same subject. He even commented that I have not known or spoke to the girl for as long as him, so I don't know the girl's character. But hello, I'm the girl's friend too, does it mean that I have to inform you of every detail I speak or she tells me. Both of us are just my friends, and both importance just ranks around the same. I feel indifferent towards both of you. But I hate been the middleman for things. So please don't assume I will cede to ur request.

Do you get the hint yet? I'm not really pissed with you, bonehead. Others are. So the problem doesn't lie with me. Its U.

Time to move on...

Its finally time to carry on. I will be going to Melbourne for further studies, together with Terence as a roommate maybe, maybe not. I'll be seeing eng cheong's girlfriend there. My friends Seng Wee, Dennis, Peisi will also be there. Wonder who else I'll meet there.

Probably I'll won't be staying at RMIT Village, cuz its to far from my school. Probably its either the University Square Apartments, Global House or Sophia House.I'll have to cook for myself, earn a living there myself. I seriously have to learn how to cook a proper meal, not just "bung" everything together in the pot/pan.

Now waiting for the dates to arrive.
1. 30th Nov - Time to apply for Visa.
2. Nov-Dec- Going Melbourne on Tour.
3. 7 Feb- Going to stay there permannently until 2008. Will I miss home? :P

(Gotta get used to life alone.)

Back to life as a civilian

Finding out that 2 years and 2 months of your life have not been used in naught for the Singapore Armed Forces. Getting the NSman sticker pasted on the back of ur former green ic, well that was a temporary measure.

Went out for an ORD celebration with my ex-platoon mates, from BMTC Sch 2, Whiskey Company, home of the wolves. Dined in Fish & Co today, tucked in into the delicious salmon terriyaki again. Today was considered one of the happiest days in my life. Then we went on to Cathay to catch a movie. Met all the guys I've been wanting to meet for so long.

People I wanna thank for today:

Yay...the light can be seen. Its in full view now. I'm ORDing tmr! Actually the truth is that I'm RODing. No more army, no more reservist.

Actually, a few days ago I was rather pissed with Mindef policies. They stated that as a PES E serviceman, You should get lesser E-Marts credits. Don't we have spoilt clothing as well? Why the change? Just admit it, there's people who are biased against us. They think that we "tuang" like nobody's business, don't care a shit about work. Always MC. But we are hardworking people, you give us the job, we get the job done, unlike other people that I know in my unit.

Also, quarrelling brings less problems. Will the two kids on the blog please stop blasting each other?! It's not about caring for one another. Its about caring about the feelings of your other half and your older half. i don't think the guy in question likes to be stuck in the middle, getting blasted from left,right, center, up and down. Give him some space, we guys need some. Please spare a thought. Work stress, home stress, relation stress. People will crack.



Only people who know what i'm talking about will understand.

Went ktv with Siu Fung today, thought of going to Vivocity, seems he wanted to see the place. Anyway I got the recce cap for him. Seems that he was very happy to wear it. :)

The Haze is really the limit. PSI index today was 105. Really pissed with the Indonesian Government. Luckily, the haze didn't come during the IMF. Else really siao liao. During last week, I took a pic after my training last friday. Wah, so hazy man. Can't see much infront of me. Decided to go home asap.

There goes the ozone.

Chris was telling me that maybe I should consider working in Australia for the experience. But it seems that I love my little island more. But earning money there is a plus, maybe lets see, how it goes while I'm there for the next year.

Blood is thicker than water?

Haiz, I'm in a fix now because of my friend. He hasn't gone home for months, though I know he's not the type to run away in the face of problems. His brother complains to me that his brother has forgot about family etc, but ya lah, I know alot was said in a fit of anger.

Live and let live, why must both sides dislike each other??? If one side relents, the poor friend in the middle will feel better, lesser tension. Hopefully, both camps spare a thought for the guy squashed in the centre. Actually, my friend going to one side of the camp, makes matters worse, cuz the other side will feel more anmmoisity for the other party.

ORD Loh- Countdown to 8 more days

I was on the bus ride back home when these 8 guys, i presumed they were from the 3rd Guards Unit near my place. They were discussing about their ORD dates, which was 67 days from today, and they were discussing in with such fervour. Oh my, I really felt like telling them not to be so noisy in the bus, ord in 67 days so what, there's no need to make such a din in the bus.

Even though I'm only 8 days from today. Hahaha...

Yay, I've finally time to write on my blog this week. Thursday was the last day of my camp recall, managed to score an A grade for the store inspection. As expected, my "special" understudy wanted to prolong his life-line, by telling me that when he is free, he will call me up to do the taking over signing. As always, I got really pissed with him this time, so I got Mdm to agree with me on the grounds that the inspection is over, so lets settle this fast. My "special" understudy was shocked beyond words when I gave him the copy to sign, thus losing his final life-line.

Damn the Haze man, the farmers of our neighboring country are really inconsiderate, spoiling the environment just for their own personal gain.

Judge me Dude!

Went back to camp this morning to carry out my duties for the LRI. Pissed off 2 new specs, or so it seems. Everyone's complaining bout my understudy, who keeps looking for trouble, the same way a bee has to get to its nectar. He calls me back for every single small damn thing, and complains way hell alot of stuff. Buai tahan ar.

Managed to go for aikido today, there was this new student, think he's either German and American, judging from his accent. I didn't have time to bring my uniform, so I decided to help out with what I was wearing, some normal civilian jeans cum special force attire- my unit polo tee, which carries the line, "Explosive Ordnance Disposal". Well, back to the guy, one of the other 1st kyu guys, a black gold tip fyi, was teaching him when the main instructor called that guy to help out for a demostration, so he asked me to teach the guy instead.

The guy complained to the Instructor that he wants a black gold (1st kyu) to coach and train with him. Not some newbie-looking guy who just came in from the door. Clearly he stated to Instructor Ahmad that he doesn't want coaching from a noob!! Then looked at me with a condemming look.

Joke was, Ahmad laughed it off, much to the guy's confusion, and replied that I was the same rank as the guy before, and that I was his assistant instructor. The German guy got a rude shock and gave me a disbelieving look!

I decided to do the best thing, I gave him a bow and a nice Cheshire cat smile...and continue to teach him. Haha...it was a really funny incident.

Major Problem O...

I've just received my certificate of enrolment from RMIT University. Thats the good news. As for the bad news, they have changed the types of majors to be taken. :P

Now I'm left with:

3. Information Systems and IT Management
4. Multimedia Design
5. Network Programming

And my choice is:
