New Photo Album

Finally.

Flickr has fixed the link to my new photo album.

This photo album is for my uploading of my photo shoots, while the other is more for like events or gatherings I go to. Otherwise, the latter will surely be really 'packed' due to the size and quanity of the other photos.

You can access it here.

Another reason why I'm creating a separate photo album is for my incoming Web3D assignment. I have to create a virtual VRML world. So I'm thinking of creating a entrance, leading to my mind. Then letting the person navigate around the mind, looking at pictures or movie of my various interest. No doubt, it might be too big a scope. But I'm thinking of trying it. :P.

Docklands Shoot

Went down to Docklands yesterday for a shoot. Got this term from Daniel.

We shot so many stuff! Me, Kelvin and Tan, I don't what's her full name, no one told me. Haha. And two other avid photographers. We took alot of nice shots. Of the South Bridge, Docklands Harbour, the seagulls and jellyfish.

I'm trying to upload the shots, but flickr seems to have a problem, cannot be seen. Wah lau eh.

Went out with my friends from Monash today after class. Met a new friend, Maul with a funny voice. First we went down to QV for lunch, Cynthia was missing the tom yum soup from home, so let her try what I found. Glad she liked it. Then we went to Melbourne Central, the guys and her went for a TMNT movie, but i didn't go, coz watched it the day before already. And no way, I won't watch a show twice here. Probably not going to watch 300, abishek going to send it to me. Thanks man. I went home to do some stuff, met them again at 8 for dinner.

Don't know who mentioned that Melbourne was suffering from drought, and I got really soaked today. (-_-") I should have brought the Gortex. Surely will make a new fashion statement. ROFL.

Koko Black...richness

Went out with Eugene yesterday to Box Hill and two of his friends from RMIT University, Kelvin and Pamela.

Pamela intro-ed us to this ma la huo guo(hot claypot soup). Eugene decided to ask for medium flavour due to a past experience. Rofl. Then we tucked in to the food. Yummy! but then the chilli oil was like....Argh! so hot. I coughed and coughed at my 1st attempt to swallow the soup, making the lady at the opposite table luff and ask me whether was the soup very hot. 0_O. Strangely enough the soup was hot enuff to make the 4 of us so full, that we didn't really eat the side dishes. We just spent our time trying to 'conquer' the hot soup. Woo.

Snapped a few pictures of Box Hill Station, and Richmond Station. Wow, the air in Richmond was so fresh!! It felt like I was in some sort of heavenly train station. Maybe its the air difference actually. Managed to get 2 postcard pics into my camera. Yay.

After that we decided to go to Camberwell market to check out the stuff. Sadly, market closed, so we just 'jalan jalan' around the place. Decided to go to Koko Black. Its a cafe that looks like a chocolate factory. The chandelier looks like some chocolate design and there was this cute wabbit chocolate that Adelin will surely love. Wah eat chocolate until cannot tahan. Oh yeah, I've decided to set up a new photo album called Foodie Deli. Inside I will place all the set meal and delicious stuff in my travels. Haha...'travels' its a nice word to use.

Time Flies!

Time flies so fast.

I've already stayed in Melbourne City for close to a two months. Projects are getting due to soon, have to finish the rest asap.

Really, when you get to mix with people nearby, you can more or less see their true colours. Some people always think they are right maybe, but maybe you gotta look deeper to see what kind of bastard you really are. Some bastards think they are smart, while others assume the people around them are stupid. I think this bastard is the latter.

Apart from the blackout on Friday that affected half of North Melbourne and the BBQ yesterday, pretty much did nothing. Everyone on the block was affected, and we didn't know what to do until the power came back at around 2a.m.(Seems that it was due to a fire station that caught fire. How ironic can Australia be? ) I'm pretty much too sian to upload my pictures i took in the 2 weeks. Sorry Jeffrey.

Things I wish I blogged about:
--The Moomba Waterfest last week. (The ensue of the fireworks. I snapped till my hands shook..again.)

--Cooked quite alot of soupy stuff.

Sometimes, I wonder. Are girls really needed in life? You fall in love, you fall out of love, you yearn to be in the company and memory of someone, but you ain't getting any. Love is selfish, or so they say. Getting a girlfriend here just seem so redundant, but its nice to have someone to spend time with, instead of brooding yourself with work, work and work. Why is it redundant? Well, simple. You never know what's going to happen next time, probably, your girl might find some other interest in another cute hunk, and the connection snaps, you are left stranded alone back home. Just like what happened in Singapore, do I still feel dejected? And yet girls always complain of guys not being able to be trusted.

Ru commented that I seem or behave like a playboy, but she's mistaken. And I clearly wanna clarify that. Not that her comment matters much to me though. I believe that one should always be open for many choices, not just one straight option. I really have to thank Marcus for this. Your ideals, mate. You might be interested in many different girls due to their character which attracts you, but wait, its the chemistry or how you both can 'click' that really counts. If you fancy someone maybe because she's a Taurus, Virgo, Pisces or some other celestial being, er...thats still your starting point. -_-" But 2 hands need to clap to make the journey moving right? You turn the key to start the engine, but if there's no fuel to fuel it won't move. Not even a single roll. And what makes the fuel? The synthesis of both parties. The journey gotta start to know each other better.

There. explanation done. Shouldn't be too cheem for her to understand.

My Sassy Girl

I just watched My Sassy Girl again on the DVD. I've watched it upteem times, and I'm always so touched by the show between the male lead and the female lead.

I just love the part where:
1. The guy gives her flowers while she is playing the Canon D song.
2. The girl is so touched by the ten rules the guy has for her and goes to the subway to look for him.
3. They found out they were meant for each other all the while.

It's a really fairytale ending huh? But I wouldn't mind this to happen to me in real life. I don't love fairy tales, but I LOVE this fairytale.

Went down to Serena's place to try her prawn mee, hmm I need to try to learn how to cook prawn mee soup, really nice. But she needs to put more prawns. And then for dinner, I cooked mushroom and beef rice. I'm getting the hang of cooking beef, but due to my stupid stove, I can't cook chicken drumstick. I wish I could, I miss the chicken drumstick my mom cooks. If only I had the receipe. Haiz.

Aikido nowadays is getting more fun, but the major thing of why I'm here is to get a degree, and probably a martial art degree at the same time. I'm training in University of Melbourne and RMIT University at the same time at $8 per week. :P I gotta work well with my peers. Finish my damn assignments, Grr..I really hate the people who are asking the lecturers stupid questions, don't they know asking this kind of question is actually creating more problems for urself?

Why o why?

Jus the 3rd week to go and I've some news to say.

1. Software Engineering Fundamentals: My assignment mate is MIA. Cannot find him unless he finds me.
2. Web3d: can get the idea, but not the logic.
3. The other 2 are ok.

Juz went for the Moomba Waterfest yesterday, WOW! there were so much fireworks to see, they literally lighted up the whole night sky. So many colors, and Kelvin won 2 soft toys, and we decided to give one to Myra. Strangely, seeing her with the toy turtle, reminds me of a little kid. Haha. She just looks so comical carrying it, oh yeah, and me too, while waiting for her at the reception with the turtle.

Will be posting up the pics soon. Woohoo.

You know, I seriously believe when one goes overseas to study, one needs to go out and explore the place, not just sit at home and mug away ur time, True, you gotta study so as not to waste ur parent's $$$. But then, if u mug away, do you get back ur lost time..?

SHA just gave me a set of steak knives today, finally replenished my kitchen.

Trip to Caufield, Monash University!

Went down to Caufield station from Melbourne Central station alone yestersday, quite an experience taking the Connex subway. The staff are really helpful though. Thumbs up!

Finally I reached Caufield in around 20 mins. Waited at the station for some time for Eugene. Wah lau, both of us are really late kings. Then we went down to meet his friends over in school. A very nice bunch, all of them. I was so happy to know that William will be joining us later, since there will be someone going home with me, think William had the same feeling too. Haha. I realized the Malaysians over in Monash are a tat much prettier then the ones from RMIT University. *Shake head.* (Its not a individual compliment, its a general compliment.)
- Why life so unfair..?

We took the bus to Chadstone, 1st time taking the bus there. woo...very comfy..Alot of sales at Chadstone, bought this cool board shorts from Quiksliver. I realized I never really bought shorts until I came to Melbourne. Wonder why?

Eugene was grumbling about what I wrote in my previous entry. He commented, "Not interested. Sabo me..! Wait people don't want talk to me!" So I urge all readers of the blog not to take to heart my previous entry, its just to sabo someone. :P
(Eugene will surely slam me when he sees this. For those who don't know Eugene, he's a really nice guy with boyish charms, enuff to make any girl here think he is still youngish, but he is FIT. haha. But don't be mistaken, he can really pack a punch as one of the seniors in his aikido club in Singapore. Any single girl out there, I recommend this dude. Hmm, as what the Nougat seller in Vic Market told me, don't play play.)

-wonder where that joker learnt it from.

By the way, the pics are here.
and William, Summer Fest pics are here.

SummerFest' 07

Went for the Summer Fest 07 that was organized by the Singapore Student Association yesterday. Went for the City Tour early in the morning, and as expected, Daniel, Terence and Kana cancelled after their watching of the Man U VS Liverpool match the day before. And it was also expected that not many Singaporeans came in the morning, coz all sleeping. But luckily I came, else wouldn't have met Eugene there. Wah so happy to see him. Best buddy you can find.

Walked around the whole of Melbourne City, abit boring coz walked around so many times already, then came back to RMIT around 4.30, get ready for the most important event: Buffet Dinner!

Met so many people and ate so much more missed food from Singapore. Nasi lemak, rendang, spicy chicken...etc.

There was this girl called Myra there, really very petite. And adorable some more. I think Eugene is interested :P, seems that he was the 1st to ask her for her number, then after that, all other guys followed suit. Eugene is still denying it...

I felt she looked alot like someone, but brushed that matter off my mind. Only bring back sad memories. But really, the resemblance is uncanny. And how all other guys were attracted to her was even more nostalgic. ( Think spelt wrongly, ah forget it..) Even the voice sounds abit like...Aiyah, STOP!

Back to ur senses. No matter how much u yearn for her, the feelings aren't going to be returned. You 2 are only great friends now, regret if you want, but there's no one to blame but urself.

Then there was this other not so erm popular girl, since I was busy chatting here and there, I notice Yao Zong and his group, so jalan over, there were people taking photos for them, so I just helped Yao Zong grab a pic. Then I chatted with his groupmates, then there was the girl in blue, she spoke really softly, almost couldn't hear a thing. Joke was, I only got ...dentistry actually. But really, she 's kinda adorable. My type of girl. :P Wanted to ask for her number, but paiseh, so many friends there. So I asked Yao Zong, instead he made a mistake, tot is another girl. Haiyo. Nw hope got chance, since he told me she's from Melbourne Uni. Hmm, shall go Melbourne Uni more for training!

Btw, to Xian, pics will be up tmr. Go my photo album see.

Queer Club.

Anyone ever wonder what is the meaning of "Queer" in Melbourne?

It means couples of the same sex. It might seem a taboo in certain Asian countries, but obviously its a commonplace here in Melbourne. Just today, while I was waiting for my next lecture to start, so went to Melbourne Central Station to jalan jalan. Was passing by this car, then i peered inside and realized that there was this couple making out inside!

In common sense its ok, but both were guys!
